Brave bird stops moving tractor to prevent her eggs being run over

A brave bird was filmed using her body to stop a moving tractor to protect her eggs in northern China.

In the heartwarming clip, shot in Ulanqab city in Inner Mongolia on June 21, the bird walked towards a moving tractor and opened her wings to try to stop it. While three eggs can be seen lying behind her.

The man named Zhang Guoqiang happened to see the bird and filmed the touching moment when he was ploughing a field.

Zhang reportedly protected that area and also placed some water in a plastic bottle for the bird.

The bird eggs have been hatched and only the shells were left when he went to check the second time.
