Brazilians in London queue for hours outside embassy to vote in hotly contested presidential election

Brazilians in London turned out in force to vote in the country's presidential elections today (October 7).

One Twitter user said she queued for three hours to vote at the Embassy of Brazil near Trafalgar Square.

"I’ve just voted after queuing for nearly 3 hours and I’m afraid that this unusually high turnout probably means a lot of votes for the fascist candidate #Eleicoes2018" tweeted @Selkie.

Brazilians are going to the polls today, with far-right candidate Jair Bolsonaro the frontrunner.
