British divers set rescued seal pup free after treating it at a vet

Divers from the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) in Northumberland set free a seal pup in the North Sea after it had been injured and treated at a vet earlier this week.

Footage from the release shows the pup flop out of a cage and on seeing the sea, start waddling towards the water. It had been found injured on a beach and was conveyed to a vet by the BDMLR, before being released on March 12, as seen in this video.
