Burst water pipe drenches drivers in Thailand

Footage shows an enormous wave of water spraying from a leaking pipe next to a road in Chonburi, Thailand yesterday afternoon (August 8).

The traffic had to slow down to avoid the puddle caused by the water leak. Many unfortunate motorbike riders were soaked.

After two hours long of the high-pressure water spreading around the area, the authorities temporarily shut off the valve and fix the pipe.

One local said: "initially I thought it was big rain, but it was not. The water in the pipe was powerful and it had leaked from a small gap, which was why it was coming out wth such high pressure."
