Car crashes into Los Angeles motel after driver suffers heart attack, injuring three


Three people have been injured after a car careered off a Los Angeles road and crashed into a motel after the driver suffered a heart attack at the wheel yesterday (December 18).

Emergency services responded to the Value Inn at 10410 E. Alondra Blvd. shortly after 3:30 pm local time when the incident occurred.

Three people have been injured and were taken to a local hospital, two sustained critical injuries and one other with minor injuries.

Local police have said the injured include the hotel's manager, the son of the hotel manager and the driver.

Witnesses said the car was travelling at a speed of "eighty miles per hour" but this was not confirmed.
