Car nearly flattened after overtaking and changing lane in front of semi-truck

CCTV video captured a car nearly being flattened after it tried to overtake a semi-truck travelling along a Chinese motorway.

The terrifying clip, shot in Yichun City in southern China's Jiangxi Province on April 2, shows a black car speeding to overtake a semi-truck as well as changing lane in front of it.

Since the truck could not brake in time it crashed side-on into the car, causing the smaller vehicle to lose control and spin out 360 degrees.

Although the car was damaged badly, the two people inside only suffered minor injuries. The car driver was blamed for the incident.
