Caught in the act! Snake catcher retrieves reptile trying to swallow a frog

Snake catcher Mirza Arif was surprised when making his latest snake rescue, when he discovered a lost cobra attempting to swallow a seemingly oblivious frog.

Arif was called to a house that reported a cobra straying outside on December 19 in Bhadrak district, Odisha state in west India. The snake disappeared into a small rathole and Arif pursued, discovering it was attempting to eat a frog.

The frog seemed to not really notice the snake trying to swallow it, and was released after the snake let go to retreat farther down the rathole.
