Chinese man slaps airport worker in face with iPhone after flight cancelled

A Chinese man has been caught on camera slapping an airport worker in the face with his mobile phone after his flight was cancelled.

In the security camera video, filmed in Qingdao City in eastern Shandong Province on July 29, a man identified as Mr Wu is seen talking on the phone when he suddenly reaches across the check-in counter and slaps the airline employee in the face with his iPhone 6 plus.

According to local reports, the man's flight was cancelled due to bad weather.

Mr Wu was detained for five days and was blacklisted by the airline.
