Chinese moped rider slides out of path of oncoming lorry in amazing near-miss

A 14-year-old scooter rider luckily slid away and avoided being run over by a lorry after running a red light in eastern China.

The shocking video, filmed in Zhenjiang City in Jiangsu Province on May 25, shows a teen boy riding an electric scooter running a red light at an intersection.

However, a lorry suddenly drove past the junction, causing the boy to brake immediately and slip onto the slippery ground.

Then he can be seen colliding with the lorry and slid forward for more than 10 metres.

Thanks to the slippery road, the boy luckily avoided being run over by the lorry.

He was sent to hospital and has been diagnosed with cerebral concussion.
