Cold War-ter: Scuba divers explore Cold War missile silo in Washington State
A group of scuba divers ventured to Royal City to dive in a disused missile silo from the Cold War last month (May 18).
The aqua explorers can be seen entering the compound which would have once been on high alert during the historical tensions of the Cold War.
The filmer explains: "A team of eight divers, dive through Cold War history.
"In 1964, the Titan Missile Silo in Royal City, Washington was left abandoned and flooded after the program became obsolete, only two years after its creation.
"A lucky thing for those who enjoy scuba diving in deep, dark, underground places."
