Cop runs to save hearing-impaired elderly man from oncoming train

A brave cop ran to save the life of a hearing-impaired elderly man from an oncoming train.

The 70-year-old man was sitting on the edge of a platform at the railway station on April 21. He failed to notice or hear Jambuwati Howrah Express passing through the tracks next to him.

A railway police constable Abhishek Pandey who was patrolling the platform saw that the elderly man’s life was in danger. He ran and pulled him to safety on time.

Abhishek’s senior officers praised his work and said he would be rewarded.
