Cops Rescue Themselves from Tiny Snake

Occurred on May 14, 2019 / Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

Info from Licensor: "My girlfriend and I were getting ready to leave for work, we're both police officers in Indianapolis. As I was walking out of the kitchen I looked over and saw a snake in our dining room. I have a phobia of snakes and thought she was pranking me, but she was not and the snake was very much alive and well in our house. I panicked and jumped on a chair and couldn't move. She's clearly the more brave one of the two of us, so I begged and pleaded that she get it out of our house. After she freaked out and panicked herself for about 30 minutes she was able to successfully get it out of the house without harming the garter snake, that felt like an anaconda to me, by scooping it up in a towel and placing it in a bucket and running it outside where it belongs. We were late to work, but our sergeant was understanding and our only punishment was neverending jokes."
