Creating a Glass Skull

Occurred on September 28, 2018 / West Grove, Pennsylvania, USA

Info from Licensor: "This video shows one step of the process of making a skull goblet. Michael Schunke and Josie Gluck operate Vetro Vero Studio in southern Pennsylvania, where they melt their own colored glass and make incredible goblets and other glassware. In this clip we see Michael using a small Oxy-Propane torch to melt in powdered clear glass that has just been sifted onto the surface of the skull. The clear powder was added so the skull would not be too shiny, which allows you to see greater detail in the sculpting. From here a foot, cup and lid will be created and the entire goblet is then assembled together hot."
