Creative chocolatier make Chinese 'terracotta warrior' chocolates

A creative Chinese hotel chocolatier, inspired by an overseas confectionery competition, made terracotta warrior-shaped chocolates.

In the video, filmed in Xi'an City in northern Shaanxi Province on March 5, a cook pours some chocolate sauce from a box into a warrior mould. After the chocolate becomes solid, he opens the mould and takes a 15cm-high terracotta warrior-shaped chocolate out.

According to reports, the chocolatier named Sun Hao is a chef in the hotel. Since terracotta warrior is the famous symbol in Xi'an City, he combined the local culture with the chocolates, making them become a popular gift for tourists.
