Crowds run away as Hong Kong police clash with protesters

This was the moment protesters in the Wan Chai area of Hong Kong ran from a group of riot police today (June 12) in the second day of demonstrations against the extradition bill.

The footage captured from a highrise building on Queen's Road E shows dozens of protesters fleeing from a group of Hong Kong police officers near Hennessy Road.

The filmer said: "They were running away from them as the police started to push the protesting line back."

Residents of Hong Kong lined the streets on Sunday to protest a recent bill which would extradite suspected criminals to mainland China.
