Defiant Extinction Rebellion protesters remain in trees above Parliament Square


At least two climate change protestors remain at the top of a tree this morning (April 24) in Parliament Square after it was scaled by demonstrators yesterday.

At least two protesters can be seen in the trees in hammocks while security and police monitor the situation from below.

The Extinction Rebellion group have been staging protests all over London since last week, including blocking Waterloo Bridge and Oxford Street.
