Devastation in home as 7.0 earthquake rocks Alaska


The devastation in the home of a resident of Anchorage, Alaska, shortly after a 7.0 earthquake rocked the state's largest city.

"I was just getting ready to leave for work," said filmer Danielle Gudmundson.

A tsunami warning has been instituted.

According to the Anchorage Police Department, there is "major infrastructure damage" across the city. "Many homes and buildings are damaged. Many roads and bridges are closed. Stay off the roads if you don’t need to drive. Seek a safe shelter. Check on your surroundings and loved ones," it said in a statement.
