Dog attempts "Bird Box Challenge" with hilariously cute results

This US dog owner decided to give his pooch the so-called "Bird Box Challenge" by gently blindfolding the pet and seeing it if to could find its way to a tasty treat.

After a bit of confusion and some gentle bumping into things, the dog eventually found its owner and the snack.

The amusing moment was captured in Chicago on January 7.

Although it might look a little cruel, the dog appears unfazed by the stunt and was completely unharmed.

The viral challenge, which normally involves people moving around while wearing blindfolds, was inspired by the Netflix film "Bird Box."
