Dozens of students risk their lives clinging to outside of moving bus in India

A terrifying video has emerged from northern India showing dozens of students clinging to the outside of a bus to get to their college in time to sit an exam.

The remarkable clip, which was filmed in Fatehabad on November 21, shows the youngsters sitting on the roof of the vehicle, clinging to the rear and to the outside of the doors.

At one point a boy can no longer hold on and falls into the road below. Fortunately, he is unharmed.

All the passengers were students at the Industrial Training Institute of Fatehabad.

“Many private buses failed to turn up forcing us to overcrowd a government-owned bus,” said Dharmendra Soni, a student.

“As we had an exam, arriving late wasn't an option,” he added.
