Dramatic moment man rushes to help woman who fell off moving train in India

A woman was rescued after falling off a moving train at a railway station in northeastern India.

The incident happened on May 23 at Cuttack Railway Station.

Footage shows the woman being dragged by a train as she clings to a passenger inside.

A man walking on the train platform then rushes to help the woman and manages to push her back inside the train.

The General Manager of the station awarded the rescuer for the 'exemplary presence of mind and passenger safety consciousness', local media reported.
