Drone video shows layer of smoke from Camp Fire shrouding Northern California

A thick blanket of smoke from the devastating Camp Fire in the town of Paradise is choking parts of Northern California.

This video, filmed above Rancho Cordova in Sacramento County, shows the low visibility.

In the Bay Area, authorities have raised the red air quality warning for the sixth consecutive day, with officials encouraging residents to wear N95 respiratory masks to filter out the harmful particles from the smoke.

The death toll of the Camp Fire has risen to 58 after rescue crew found four more bodies on Wednesday.
