Evacuations as Californian "Camp Fire" continues to burn


Officials in Butte County, California, urged residents to evacuate on Thursday as an intense fire threatened several communities.

The Camp Fire ignited around 6:30 a.m. local time on Thursday and has burned over 8,000 acres.

The location of the blaze is said to be near Pulga Road at Camp Creek Road near Jarbo Gap.

A video taken on Thursday showed the air thick with black smoke.
