Firefighters battle 38-acre Masonic Fire


A wildfire started in Redding, California, grew to more than 30 acres on October 14, leading to evacuations for those in the immediate area.

According to local media, the Masonic Fire was reported at around 11:30 am. One person was taken to a local hospital for minor burn injuries, and at least one structure was damaged by the blaze.

While no new evacuation orders were being issued by late afternoon, the Redding Fire Department reported that their containment of the fire is "shaky".
