Firefighters rescue 450kg buffalo trapped in deep hole

Firefighters rescued a 450kg buffalo that had become trapped in a 32-foot-depth hole in southwestern China.

In the video, captured in Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province on January 16, a firefighter and the buffalo’s owner were lowered down into the hole with rescue ropes and manage to tie them to the animal.

Then a crane is used to gradually lift the buffalo out of the deep hole.

After two hours, the buffalo was rescued successfully, only suffering minor scratches to its belly.

According to reports, the buffalo dropped into the hole accidentally when it was eating grass.
