Fly through the California wildflower superbloom

A wildflower superbloom took over the Walker Canyon in California and was recorded via camera drone flying over the huge plots of yellow Californian poppies.

This video was taken on Monday (March 18) in the canyon area near Lake Elsinore.

The superbloom can be seen from 35,000 feet in the air according to local newspapers, with claims it can also be seen from space.

Locals spoke out on Twitter about tourists that arrived in flocks to take photos and ended up trampling the wildflowers which end up ruining the landscape for everyone.
