Footage shows residents evacuating from fast-moving Sierra Fire


Residents in the Fontana, California area fled their homes to safety on Tuesday, November 13 as the Sierra Fire continued to spread.

The fire broke out near the intersection of Sierra and Riverside avenues in Fontana, spreading quickly and covering 20 acres within minutes. Authorities responded to the scene shortly after 10 pm.

Flames were burning medium-to-heavy fuel with a rapid rate of spread, fire officials said. No structures were immediately spotted on fire.
