Four injured when leopard enters Indian village

Four people were injured on Friday when a wild leopard entered a village in northern India.

Remarkable footage showed farmers and other locals attempting to drive the big cat away from the village in the Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh.

However, the leopard managed to enter an area close to the village and created panic among residents.

The big cat attacked four people, including one forestry official before it was eventually captured.

The injured were being treated at a district hospital.
