France's World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe given hero's welcome on hometown return

Soccer player Kylian Mbappe returned to his hometown of Bondy on Wednesday (October 17) - and received a hero's welcome.

The Paris Saint-German striker and France international was born in the town near the French capital.

In the video, the large crowd can be heard chanting "Kylian! Kylian!" and attempting to take selfies.

"I could never imagine I'd receive this kind of welcome here," Mbappe tells the crowd from the stage.

Mbape was a key figure in France's World Cup winning team at this year's Russia World Cup.
