Free runner strikes a pose perfectly as bolts of lightning ignite the sky

This was the moment an Estonian free runner managed to get the perfect shot as they posed atop a climbing frame in the town of Abu during a lightning storm on June 13.

The parkour artist eventually becomes silhouetted by the blinding strikes of the inclement weather in the background.

They told Newsflare: "I was trying to get a clip in my parkour park with thunder in the background.

"I was sitting for almost one hour in rain, trying different angles as thunder was moving.

"I was standing on metal bars, so it was a bit scary because that's stupid.

"Got it perfectly at the end."
