In this video, you can see their deep bond as she tells Boss to rest, and they cuddle together. Boss : A German Shepherd mix and a true "Christmas miracle". Eight years ago, during a -18°C freeze, he crawled into our yard starving, with a broken leg and fear-driven aggression. My 7-year-old daughter was the only one who calmed him. We healed him, and he became our gentlest protector. Chika (Duck): A brave survivor and the only duckling to escape a fox attack that claimed 5 others. After the tragedy, she sought comfort in Boss.
