Ghost rider! Motorcycle appears to drive itself down road in the Philippines

This motorcycle sidecar appeared to be driving itself - but it was actually the rider trying to stay dry during a storm. 

The incident was caught on camera by passing driver Jimmy Sanosa who was travelling behind the 'ghost motorcycle' in Meycauayan, Bulacan, the Philippines on May 26. 

Sanosa said he had to drive a little bit closer to see what was happening. He said: "At first it looked like the bike was riding itself.

"But it turned out, the driver was just avoiding getting wet by driving from the passenger's seat inside the sidecar. 

"Filipinos are so resourceful when it comes to these things."
