Gilets Jaunes protest in southern France
Gilets Jaunes (Yellow Vests) protesters join unions and sympathisers on a general call to strike on Tuesday in Perpignan, southern France.
Hundreds took to the streets around Place de la Catalogne, according to local media.
While several teachers were present in the crowds, there were also people calling for higher wages and a fairer taxation system.
