Gypsies and travellers set up camp ahead of Appleby Horse Fair
Travellers and Gypsies have made their way to Appleby ahead of the annual Horse Fair in Cumbria which begins on Thursday, June 6.
The footage shows the A685 in Appleby-in-Westmorland lined with hundreds of caravans and horses.
After overcrowding problems last year, the local council has greatly restricted the numbers and have stepped up the police presence considerably after many complaints from the local people and motorists using the road.
