Helmet saves scooter driver’s life after his head is run over by truck in China

A helmet saved a scooter driver's life after his head was run over by a truck in eastern China.

In the CCTV video, filmed in Ningbo city in Zhejiang province on July 11, a truck turning a corner knocked down a scooter and ran over driver's head.

Fortunately, the man wore a helmet which helped protect his head.

Although he suffered injuries, he was not in a life-threatening condition.

According to reports, 44.79% of people who died in accidents in Ningbo city in 2018 were scooter drivers or passengers and 88.89% of these scooter drivers died from craniocerebral injury.
