High tide surges onto boardwalk in Blackpool
Storm Erik has battered the North-West coast of England bringing seawater onto the promenade at the historic coastal resort of Blackpool today (February 8).
Winds of up to 60 miles per hour have caused disruption at airports.
The Met Office has issued warnings for much of the UK, especially in parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland.
