Holy cow! Bovine stays fast asleep in middle of busy street traffic
An unfazed cow napped in the middle of a busy road in southern India, despite having bikes zooming past and cars beeping in its face.
The filmer was amazed while travelling in Varanasi, India at how cows wandered the streets and roads, and even more so the day this video was taken (January 23), when this cow was spotted sleeping in the middle of the road.
Cows are thought to be sacred in the Hindu religion and are respected for their gentle nature, and are often gifted food and drink by the locals.
