Hong Kong protest sympathisers attend Ukrainian revolution movie event
Local residents gathered outside Sha Tin station to show their support for the protests in Hong Kong by chanting "liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our time".
The video shows hundreds of nearby residents on Thursday night watching a film while shouting Hong Kong protest chants and cheering.
According to the filmer, the film was "Winter On Fire", a documentary about the 2014 Ukrainian revolution which may inspire Hong Kong nationals during the recent anti-extradition bill protests.
