Hong Kong's protests moved into a new phase as protesters and police adopted fast-moving tactics.
The smaller, more hardcore protest that followed the peaceful afternoon march, moved rapidly to evade arrest.
Police responded in kind, chasing protesters down streets and even into train stations.
