Hong Kong protesters smash windows and try to storm government headquarters
Protesters smashed the windows of Hong Kong’s Legislative Council on Monday (July 1).
Video filmed today shows protesters wearing masks and helmets smashing the windows with sticks.
The attempt to storm the building coincided with the 22nd anniversary of the former British colony’s handover to China.
