Horrific moment two mopeds smash together in the middle of a busy road

This is the terrifying moment a scooter pulls out into the middle of a busy road only to be smashed into by an oncoming scooter careening down the road on March 22 in Nagercoil in the Tamil Nadu

Footage shows the incident caught on CCTV as the driver of the stationary scooter waits for cars to pass before pulling out. The driver then inches out into the busy road but the oncoming scooter has no time to stop and ploughs straight into the stationary scooter.

Debris is thrown all over the road and both passengers are sent flying off their scooters. People in the nearby market stalls immediately come rushing out to help the people involved in the incident.
