Human rights protests held as President Xi Jinping visits Paris
Chinese president Xi Jinping arrived in Paris today (March 25) to a mixed welcome along the Champs-Élysées as both supporters and human rights protesters turned out to meet him.
Xi's motorcade was seen arriving by the Arc de Triomphe, while protesters for both the liberation of Tibet and religious freedom for the oppressed Uighur Muslim minority appeared at the nearby Champs de Mars.
