Hundreds of cyclists stage a 'die-in' protest at New York park

Crowds of cyclists demonstrated in New York's Washington Square Park yesterday (July 9).

The legion of bikers from across the city gathered for a five-minute long “mass die-in” to raise awareness for safer roads.

Bikers cried, sharing grief over lost friends, and directed their anger at City Hall, at one point chanting “do your job” to Mayor Bill de Blasio.
