Hundreds of people evacuated from Manchester Piccadilly station

Hundreds of people were evacuated from Manchester Piccadilly train station after it was reported that there was smoke seen coming from a restaurant.

Jordan, who filmed this video, told Newsflare: "I arrived at Manchester Piccadilly at around 13:10 and the station was already being evacuated with a large crowd already outside the main doors and people still being ushered outside from the station, people looked worried and confused and there were staff and police present.

"We were outside for around 20 minutes before staff were allowed back in first then the rest of us."
