Hundreds of Refugees descend on Greece's northern border with Macedonia to re-open migration route

Floods of refugees in Greece descend upon the northern border with Macedonia and set up camp in the already overcrowded Diavata Refugee camp outside Thessaloniki on April 3. The migration route through Macedonia was closed down in 2016 but these refugees, whose move is in response to social media calls, are hoping their presence will prompt the route to re-open.

Footage shows hundreds of refugees including many women and children arriving at the refugee camp and setting up tents.

Little girls bang tent poles in, one refugee explains there are people from all over the world congregated at the camp and little boys walk in dirty clothes giving the peace sign.
