Upon arrival I noticed a rocking chair had survived 2 full days of 30-50mph winds, and raging seas... It seemed pretty ironic and poetic, so I had a seat for a moment to take it all in. Amongst the chaos, there can be tranquility. The Outer Banks Motel is one of the sturdiest buildings you will find built along Cape Hatteras, NC and it's survival through storm after storm like this is proof."
