Husband Saves Neighbor's Husky from Drowning

Occurred on September 5, 2021 / Denison, Texas, USA

Info from Licensor: "My husband and I were cooking breakfast when we heard what sounded like a scream. I looked out the back door and saw the neighbor's husky dog in the pool, and she couldn't get out. She was hanging on to the side of the pool, howling for help. We both ran next door and rang the doorbell, with no answer. The owner answered the ring doorbell, which she accessed through her cell phone, and told us she was not home at the moment and to go in through the back gate to save the dog. There were other dogs in the back that seemed aggressive, but the owner promised they wouldn't bite. I think the other dogs knew my husband was there to help, so he didn't get bit. Thank goodness. The dog was pulled out of the pool, and she was safe, thanks to my husband. This is a lesson learned to never leave your pet unattended around an open pool."
