Hypnotic labyrinth of ice tunnels stuns visitors at world's deepest lake

Cracks on one-and-a-half meter thick ice form to create a beautiful 3D maze of veins on the surface of the world's deepest freshwater lake.

The network of fractures in the ice of Lake Baikal in Russia's southern Siberia looks like it could be veins running through the lake.

The footage was filmed on Friday (March 8), where temperatures dropped to -10 degrees Celsius.
