Visitors to Palace Square in St Petersburg in Russia were treated to a bizarre sight on Saturday - Father Christmas and his pet piglet.

Why exactly the tiny piggy and Father Christmas were wandering the streets of the city is unclear but tourists appeared to enjoy taking photos of the unlikely duo.
