Occurred on April 7, 2026 / Pentecost, Vanuatu
Info from Licensor: "Land diving, also known as “nagol” takes place annually on the island of Pentecost, located in Vanuatu. The tradition is carried out every year between the months of April to June. This season is when the vines are ready to construct the tower. The jump is a rite of passage for the tribe and people who jump receive a chiefly rank, elevating their status in the tribe. Land diving is a centuries old practice and is the inspiration for modern day bungee jumping. The tower contains multiple platforms, children jump off the lower ones to being the ceremony and adults jump of the highest. The platforms are designated as the “legs” “stomach” “arms” and “head”. The tower is approximately 30 meters."
