Lemurs lick ice lollies to cool off in the UK heatwave

Lemurs at a zoo in England were given frozen lollies to cool down as the heatwave continues to bake Britain.

Footage shows lemurs licking on the frozen treats at their enclosure in Twycross Zoo on July 24.

The filmer told Newsflare: ''The lemurs aren't sure at first, but once they've got the taste, they can't stop licking it.

"While some aren't quite sure how to hold the ice and it keeps falling off the platform, others haven't got a problem and just hold it in their hand.''
